Time & Eternity
Home/About
The House
A house built to earn the name Keeper.
Keeper & Co. is Tampa's come-to-you watch house, and the Tampa home of Time & Eternity, the independent Swiss brand behind the Morgan 300. Here is the story, and the standard behind it.
The House
A house, not a storefront.
Keeper & Co. is a come-to-you dealer based in Tampa, working in pre-owned Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Omega, Cartier and Tudor. We hold few watches at a time, and we would rather have the conversation before the transaction. A Timekeeper brings the Case to you; nothing sits behind glass waiting for foot traffic.
The name reads plainly enough. A watch measures time. A keeper is who looks after what outlasts it.
Keeper & Co. is also the Tampa home of Time & Eternity, an independent Swiss watch brand we carry. Time & Eternity began with a single watch to its name: the Morgan 300, a Swiss Made automatic certified to 900 feet and limited to three hundred pieces. The number is Gideon's — three hundred men who held the line. The first allocations never saw a shop window; they sold directly, one conversation at a time. That watch is part of what the Case carries today, alongside the pre-owned pieces we source.
How we look at a watch
One watch at a time, under a good light.
Buying quietly means we get to be picky. A piece is judged on its own before it earns a place in the Case, and most of what we are offered never makes it that far. The ones that do are the ones we would be glad to keep.
How We Authenticate
What "authenticated in-house" means here.
Every dealer's site carries those words. Fewer will tell you what the words involve. The bench work happens at the house's Tampa base before a watch ever travels to you; what you see in front of you at a viewing or a buy appointment is the portable half of the same standard.
| Caseback | Opened on every piece at the house's Tampa base. The movement is inspected in the metal, not through the glass. |
|---|---|
| Movement | Matched against reference archives for caliber, finishing and serial placement. |
| Timegrapher | Rate checked in multiple positions on a portable timegrapher, brought to your table at a viewing or a buy appointment, not just dial-up on the counter. |
| Pressure test | Run on every dive piece before we will speak for its depth rating. |
| Papers | Verified against both the case and movement serials, in front of you when a Timekeeper is at your table. A card is only worth what it matches. |
If a piece cannot clear every step, it is not offered.
The standard
Every watch earns its place before it travels.
The People
Founder
[FOUNDER NAME]
[FOUNDER NAME] built Keeper & Co. from a personal collection and a direct-message client list, and still signs off on every watch that enters the house. Collector first, dealer second; nothing is offered here that the house would not be content to keep. Introductions happen in person.
Where We Work
No storefront. On purpose.
There is no room to visit and no inventory sitting behind glass. Keeper & Co. is based in Tampa, and a Timekeeper brings the Case, typically six pieces pulled to your brief, to wherever you'd rather sit: home, office, club. You pick the room; the showroom comes to you.
Timekeepers work South Tampa, Hyde Park, Westshore and Davis Islands first, and drive out to St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, Brandon and Wesley Chapel as well.
To see a watch on the wrist, speak to a Timekeeper and we bring the Case to you, sized on your own wrist at your table. If you have a question first, write to us.
